DoorCo Ltd is committed to ensuring that acts of modern-day slavery do not occur in its own business and that of its supply chain.  The Company acknowledges responsibility to the Modern Slavery Act 2015.

Organisation Structure

DoorCo is an owner managed business operating from three UK locations. We supply our customers door blanks and associated ancillaries for manufacture of door sets.   We are a proven supplier and manufacturer of composite door products and a recognised market leader in our sectors.

Our Policies on Slavery & Human Trafficking

We are committed to ensuring that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in our supply chains or in any part of our business.  Our Modern Slavery Policy reflects our commitment to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships.  We are committed to implementing effective systems and controls to ensure slavery and human trafficking is not taking place in our supply chains. DoorCo operates the following policies that describe its approach to prevent slavery and human trafficking in its operations:

Due Diligence Processes for Slavery & Human Trafficking

As part of our due diligence with our suppliers to identify and mitigate our risk we will:

  • Where possible build long standing relationships with our supplier and will make clear our expectations of business behaviour.
  • We expect our suppliers to have suitable anti-slavery and human trafficking policies and processes in place.
  • We have systems in place to encourage the reporting of concerns & the protection of whistle blowers.

Supplier Adherence to Our Values

We have zero tolerance to slavery and human trafficking.  We expect all those in our supply chain and contractors to comply with our values.

Training

To ensure a high level of understanding of the risks of modern slavery & human trafficking in our supply chains & our business, we provide training to relevant members of staff.  All directors have been briefed.

The company will not support or deal with any business knowingly involved in slavery or human trafficking.

This statement has been approved by the board and will be reviewed and updated annually.
